1. Ghanarooms.com (hereinafter referred to as the “Website”) provides online booking system for hospitality agencies (hotels, apartments, hostels, lodges, bed and breakfast, and Villas etc.) hereinafter referred to as the “Accommodation”.

2. Booking via ghanarooms.com creates a legally obligatory agreement between you (hereinafter referred to as the “Customer”) and the “Accommodation”.

3. Ghanarooms.com only plays the role of an intermediary to facilitate the booking.

4. Ghanarooms.com also facilitates any and all advance payments on the behalf of the Customer and the Accommodation.

5. Ghanarooms.com ensures that Accommodation has access to update rates and availability as well as other relevant information to assist Customer.

6. Ghanarooms.com cannot guarantee the accuracy of any and all information on the portal and cannot be held liable for any interruptions, breakdown, repair, upgrade or maintenance of the portal.

Prices

Ghanarooms.com provides highly competitive and best guaranteed rates with no hidden charges.  All rates on ghanarooms.com are inclusive of VAT and all other taxes.  Ghanarooms.com cannot be held responsible for any and all additional charges at the Accommodation.  Customer is advised to rely solely on the interest rate as estimated by the Accommodation.

Privacy & Cookies

Ghanarooms.com holds in high integrity the privacy of both Customer and Accommodation and pledges not to divulge any information to third party organizations.  Ghanarooms.com uses cookies to examine the activities and browsing patterns of Customer purposely for decision making.

Cancellation

By booking any Accommodation on ghanarooms.com, Customer accepts the cancellation and no-show policies of that Accommodation, and any other terms and conditions specified by the Accommodation. The cancellation and no-show policy of each Accommodation is available on ghanarooms.com prior to booking. Customer must read the cancellation policy carefully before booking an Accommodation.

Customer’s booking confirmation email will outline the process to modify or cancel a booking or Customer may contact ghanarooms.com customer service for any assistance. Customer is hereby informed that based exclusively on the cancellation policy of the Accommodation, Customer may not be entitled to a full or partial refund of advance payment.

Refund

Ghanarooms.com cannot under any circumstance be held responsible in part or whole for any issues relating to refund of advance payments directly to Accommodaton.  In cases where advance payment was made on ghanarooms.com payment system, the issue will be investigated and refund effected as appropriate.

Chargeback

1. Persons reserving or booking accommodation/lodging on advanced payment with cards are requested to make the reservations or bookings personally.

2. Aside from card payments through ghanarooms.com payment system, any and all card payment issues must be directly referred by Customer to the Accommodation.

3. Where a chargeback occurs, card holder must validate claims of the cause of chargeback

4. Card holder must give “Website” or “Accommodation” seven working days to identify and rectify any wrongful charges.

5. Third parties / agents making reservations or bookings on the behalf of a card holder via telephone, website or email must provide the following details for verification:

  • Name of the agent
  • Direct dial telephone number (not mobile number)
  • Name(s) of the person(s) requiring the accommodation
  • Expected arrival date and time
  • Number of nights stay
  • Card number to effect payment with
  • Card’s expiry date
  • Cardholder’s name
  • Cardholder’s billing address, telephone number, and email address
  • Card Security Code
  • Company name and designation if corporate booking
  • Company’s website address and switchboard telephone number

Over Booking

If guaranteed accommodation is not available at the arrival of “Customer”, the “Accommodation” must provide the following at its own expense:

1. Comparable accommodation at a hotel of at least equal quality for one night

2. Transportation to that accommodation and

3. Forwarding of all messages and calls to that accommodation

Third Party Websites

Ghanarooms.com may in some cases provide links to third party websites; however, such links should not be misconstrued as an affiliation or partnership with a third party or as a support of a particular website unless otherwise specified.

Ghanarooms.com indemnifies itself of any damages occurring as a result of a Customer following a suggested link and interacting with a third party website.  We expressly decline any and all liability for any content, including information, and products and services available on third party websites.

Third-party websites are restricted and prohibited from creating any links to ghanarooms.com without prior written consent. Additionally, ghanarooms.com reserves the right to rescind consent without notice or justification.

Intellectual Property Rights

Ghanarooms.com reserves all right, title and interest in and to all intellectual property and services provided.  Intellectual property rights include original content and paraphrased content, guest reviews, product and services description, and concepts.  No individual or organization is allowed to copy, integrate, combine, and or utilize any content of the website without written permission.
